What classes do you teach?
Senior Company Pointe, Apprentice Pre-Pointe, Junior Company Ballet and Intermediate Ballet
When/how did you start dancing?
After competitive gymnastics, danced with a modern dance company, and began ballet lessons at age 10.
Favorite thing about recital season?
Seeing students enjoy their costumes and dances!
Favorite thing about JFSOD?
Friendly atmosphere!
Favorite hobby outside of dance?
Hiking with my husband
What's one thing that people would be surprised to know about you?
I love math, accounting and doing taxes.
Favorite food?
Avocado
What's your guilty pleasure?
Watching TV sitcoms

What classes do you teach?
Currently I teach the 4/5 year old class. In the past, I've taught from the 3 year old classes up to the teenage classes.
When/how did you start dancing?
I started dancing when I was 5 years old at JoAnn Fryrear School of Dance. My family had just moved to Louisville and my dad was on staff at SECC with Mrs. JoAnn's husband, Ray.
Favorite thing about recital season?
I really love seeing everyone dressed in their beautiful costumes and showing off all they have learned.
Favorite thing about JFSOD?
I love that JFSOD is focused not only on dance technique but also the dancer as a person. The studio encourages both growth as a dancer and as a person and encourages everyone to be their best.
Favorite hobby outside of dance?
Spending time with friends.
What's one thing that people would be surprised to know about you?
My main job, outside of dance, is a mother to 2 precious kids and a labor and delivery nurse.

Avocados
What's your guilty pleasure?
Reese's blizzards!
Dance idol(s)?
Mrs. JoAnn has always been a dancer I have looked up to. Her passion and love for dance has never wavered over the years.
What's one thing you admire about another JFSOD family member?
I admire Mrs. JoAnn's commitment to dance. She inspires me by the way she has used dance to help so many in their life journey and amazes me that she still dances 4 days a weeks!
