What classes do you teach?
Senior Prep, Apprentice and Senior Company Ballet, and Ballet Technique
When/how did you start dancing?
I started dancing when I was 9 years old because my big sister was dancing.
Favorite thing about recital season?
My favorite thing about recital season is the very first rehearsal in the studio in costume! I love to see the excitement of all the students.
Favorite thing about JFSOD?
My favorite thing is the support and the trust and friendship among the faculty. Great people! The students are very sweet, respectful, and a joy to work with.
Favorite hobby outside of dance?
Spending time with my wonderful husband and our dogs. Reading and gardening are favorites too!
What’s one thing that people would be surprised to know about you?
I danced at the Kennedy Center with Mikhail Baryshnikov and NYCB when I was 14 years old.
Favorite Food?
Mexican food, especially good guacamole!
What’s your guilty pleasure?
A big, juicy, rare ribeye steak. Yum!
Dance idol(s)?
I don't really have idols now, but when I was growing up, Patricia McBride of NYCB. She was so sweet and humble, while being a world class ballerina.
What’s one thing you admire about another JFSOD family member?
I really admire Mrs. Lynn's gift with the younger children and her natural gifts as a wonderful teacher!

What classes do you teach?
No teaching. Just the giver of hugs, hair ties and band aids.
When/how did you start dancing?
I don’t dance - I have 2 left feet.
Favorite thing about Recital season?
The excitement the young dancers have when they see their costumes!
Favorite thing about JFSOD?
We are family! The friendly atmosphere.
Favorite hobby outside of dance?
Flower arranging
What’s one thing that people would be surprised to know about you?
I like to fix things.

Pizza
What’s your guilty pleasure?
Chocolate
What’s one thing you admire about another JFSOD family member?
Mrs. JoAnn - she is still dancing and her special work with stroke patients. She is an inspiration.
